He was predeceased by: his parents, James Epps and Genell Staggers. He is survived by: his siblings, James G., Valerie, Mark and David Z.; his wife Joanna Edwards; his children, Lawrence M. Carter of Clifton, NJ, Rashon Edwards of Paterson, Vincent Edwards of Paterson, Jasmine Edwards of Paterson and Kimberly Carter of Paterson; and his close friend Willie Floyd (Omar). He is also survived by grandchildren, a niece, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
