She was predeceased by: her parents, James McClendon and Lessie Mae McClendon; and her sister Mary Covington. She is survived by: her significant other Johnnie Artis; her children, Randell McClendon and Jakia Artis of Bridgeton; her grandchildren, Dayleishea McClain, Shakeira Macintosh, Amirah Williams, Tonay Brown-McClendon, Randell McClendon Jr., Christian Artis and Cardell Mcclendon; her siblings, Lessie Hicks of Bridgeton, Willie McClendon of Vineland, Ola McClendon of Bridgeton, Pearl Baker of Minotola and Terri McClendon of Louisville, KY; and her siblings-in-law, George Hicks and Lyshiron McClendon.
