He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Pauline Anderson and Irvin E. Atha; his sisters, Ruth Coleman and Betty Matheny; his granddaughter Eryn Atha; and his son-in-law Marty Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Garcia of Stow Creek; his children, Julie Brown, Robert Atha (Kathi) and Brian Atha (Tammy); his grandchildren, Amanda Brown (Patrick), Ryan Atha (Milena), Robert Atha (Sarah) and Laura Truitt (Elliot); and his great grandchildren, Andre Atha, Cedric Atha, Saraphina Atha and Adriana Atha.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Padgett Funeral Home (1107 NJ-77, Bridgeton, NJ 08302). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
