He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralston Pierce and Ann Margret Pierce (Miller); his wife Patricia Pierce (Thornton); his stepfather Morris C. Pierce Sr.; and his siblings, Morris C. Pierce Jr., Benny Pierce, Herbie Pierce, Gerldine Durham, Victoria Harmon, Leona Pierce, Mary Pierce, Viola Pierce, Arlene Pierce and Sara Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Carrie (Larry) and Travis; his stepson Patrick; his siblings, Richard (Margret), Pearl (Sonny), Betty, Donnie (Melissa), Delilah, Jane, Janet (Johnathan) and Ricky; his close friends, Pat Pierce (Caesar) and Carolyn Pierce; his grandchildren, Kiana (Tim), Ellis, Tyson and Jamear Pierce; and his pets, Ginger and Buster. He is also survived by twenty-six great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren and various nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends.
