He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles G. May and Odeal Pavon May; his wife Elizabeth Marie May; and his siblings, Charles May, Harry May, Robert Dalton and Mary Chiari.
He is survived by: his sons, Edgar P. May, Jr. (Debbie) and Robert T. May (Sharon); his grandchildren, Edgar P. May III (Kara), Shawn May (Mandie), Ryan Eagles (Patrick) and Kelsey Whitt (Steve); and his great grandchildren, Timmy, Dylan, Ian, Madison, Emily and Adalyne.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Padgett Funeral Home (1107 NJ-77, Bridgeton, NJ 08302). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Olivet Cemetery.
