He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Govan and Marion Govan. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Forrest of Millville, Dawn Gross (Josiah) of Vineland, NJ, Valerie Gross of Alloway, NJ, David Govan of Kansas City, MO, Trunita Bogan of Millville, NJ and Devyn Berry (John) of Fairfield Township, NJ; his siblings, Marjorie Needly, Maricio Johnson, Delores Lee, Terry Govan Gilmore, Ronald Govan, Jack Govan (Lena), Joan Forman (Donald), Vivian Martin, Anthony Govan (Sharron), Sharon Govan, Caroline Channel (David) and Elizabeth Govan; and his former wife Audrey Wise-Govan (Myra). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
