It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie C. Thomas Sr. (Bridgeton, New Jersey), who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Thomas and Agnes Thomas; and his sisters, Mary Ferguseon and Zena Harrell. He is survived by: his wife Inez Ada Jones; his sons, Charlie Thomas Jr., Johnny Thomas, Anthony Thomas and Gregory Thomas; his grandson Ernest Pierce; his daughters, Michele Denise Wakefield (Thurmond) and Joyce Thomas; his goddaughter Anesha Davis (Derek); his siblings, Frank Thomas of Virginia, James Thomas (Joyce) of Maryland, Catherleen Thomas Moss, Verlean Thomas Robinson of Virginia and Francis Thomas of Maryland; and his grandchildren, Alex Butler, Charlie Thomas III (Aime), Gregory Thomas, Tarrelle Thomas, Jazmin Wakefield and Sarah Thomas. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
