He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Brown and Lucille Brown; his son Adrian Aaron Loatman; his brothers, Dave and Leslie Brown; and his half-brother Adeian Loatman.

He is survived by: his children, Tameka "Shai" Loatman of Bridgeton, Kisha Loatman of Bridgeton and Benjamin "Ben" Brown of Vineland; his stepchildren, Robert, Chrishell and Carlos Thomas; his brother Tony Heights; and his close friends, Douglas "Doug" Goldsborough, Richard "Magoo" Smith and Jeffrey Newton. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.
