He is survived by: his wife Joan Minix of Bridgeport; his children, Catherine (Morgan Morris), Robert Minix Jr. (Cheryl), Patti Minix (Joe Spirra) and Susanne Taraschi; and his brother David (Anne Minix). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
