It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sidney Kaplan of Bricktown, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Kaplan (Weiner) and Sam Kaplan; and his siblings, Alan Kaplan and Irene Eisman. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kaplan (Margolies); his brother Irving Kaplan; his children, Laurie Wall Ocean (David) and Daniel Kaplan (Donald); and his grandchildren, Matthew and Brianna Wall.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, Sidney's burial will take place at Beth Israel Cemetery/Woodbridge Memorial Gardens and will be limited to immediate family.
In lieu of food or flowers, donations may be made to Channel 13 or your favorite public television station.
