He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard McCarthy and Janice McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, William D McCarthy, Linda McLaughlin, Cheryl McCarthy, Janice Hare and Beth Diehl; his stepson John Casullo (Christine); his brother Michael McCarthy; and his grandchildren, Shayla McLaughlin and Richard Bonder.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Weatherhead Young Funeral Home (885 Mantoloking Rd, Brick, NJ 08723). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Weatherhead Young Funeral Home - Owner/Manager John (885 Mantoloking Rd, Brick, NJ 08723).
