She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Filippone. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Filippone (Paula) of Connecticut and Dennis Filippone (Christine) of Forked River; her grandchildren, Marie (Egan Shimonis), Thomas Filippone, Angela Filippone and Kevin Filippone (Caroline); and her great grandchildren, Kaia Rose and Jamison Egan Shimonis. She is also survived by her twin sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a scholarship has been established in her name.
