With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Spina of Brick, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter John Spina, Sr.; and her grandson Christopher Paul Spina. She is survived by: her children, Eva Tafaro (Tony), Donna Van Mater (Albert) of Clearwater, FL, Peter Spina, Jr. of Bayville, NJ, Adrienne Vollmer (Chuck) of Manahawkin, NJ and Daniel Spina; and her grandchildren, Tiffany, Adam, Amanda, Anthony, Danielle, Elizabeth, Brian, Nikki and Bridget. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Timothy E. Ryan Home For Funerals (145 St Catherine Blvd, Toms River, NJ 08755). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the B. G. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery (250 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
