He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Wakefield (Steeley) of Brick; his daughter Alison Wakefield of Midland Park; his grandchildren, William Friars of Nyack, NY., Dylan Friars and Aidan Friars of Midland Park; and his sisters, Sandra Bird of Baldock, Susan Thomas of Biggleswade and Margaret Plachy of Wroxham, England..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Salvation Army.
