He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert, Sr. and Mary; and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Clare M. Mathiasen (Halstead); his children, Kevin R. Mathiasen (Colleen) of Pittstown, NJ and Cheryl M. Homiek (John) of Toms River, NJ; his sisters, Susan Demouth and Nancy Price; his grandchildren, Kyla, John "Trea" and Derek; and also Lisa Faulkenstern. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Weatherhead Young Funeral Home (885 Mantoloking Rd, Brick, NJ 08723). A prayer was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
