He is survived by: his wife Juliann Evertsberg; his children, Richard, Michael Evertsberg, Wendy Evertsberg (Donald Oliver), Nancy Bennett (Thomas), Joanne Yeager, Adele Yeager and Rosie Kovacs (Teddy); and his grandchildren, Thomas, Courtney, Christine, Michael, Tyler and Riley.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Richard's name to Laurelton Fire Company, 1725 Rt. 88, Brick, NJ 08724. **Due to Covid 19 restrictions there are capacity limitations and face masks and social distancing are required.
