She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Balasic; her parents, Catherine Atkinson and Warren T. Johnson; and her siblings, Patricia Early and Tayler Johnson.

She is survived by: her nephews, Thomas A. Early II (Karen), Stephen Early (Julie) and Michael Early (Apryll); and her great-nieces, Krista Early and Daisy Early.
