She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence U. (Sharar) and Richard J. Behnke; her siblings, Lyle G. "Bootsie" Behnke, Sharon U. Behnke, Janice L. Behnke and Cynthia Jones; and her grandson Jason D. Austin.

She is survived by: her children, Diane E. Austin of Brick, Nancy J. Fischkelta of Brick, William Austin of Brick, Lorraine M. Brown (Clifford) of Brick, Mark R. Austin of Brick and Kimberly A. Austin (Thomas Barnes) of Brick; and her sisters, Joyce K. Anderson and Judith K. Gass (Danny Nolan). She is also survived by children and several grandchildren.
