He is survived by: his wife Joyce; and his sons, Joseph "Buddy" Pinkava, Jr. (Kathleen) and Jeffrey Pinkava (Cheri). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and friends.
He remained active in the business right up until the start of the pandemic. Joey's passion in life, outside of his family and work, was being on the water; boating or fishing.
