He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Byrne; his parents, Charles Byrne and Eileen McVeigh; and his son Dyllan Byrne. He is survived by: his siblings, Donna Mann, Carolea Block, Denise Arendt, Robert McVeigh, Charlene Byrne and Mary Robert; his stepsons, Michael Valentine and James Pasco; his granddaughter Zoey Pasco; his uncle Michael Cloonan; and his parents-in-law, Anne and John Kelleher. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Carolea Byrne.
