He was predeceased by: his parents, William Magill and Beatrice Magill; his wife Diane Holland Magill; and his brothers, Carter, Billy Magill and Gary Hankins.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Steinruck (John), Lisa Magill, James Magill and Kathleen Light (Jeremy); his sister Cathy Bennett (Jim); his granddaughter Samantha Dai; his stepgrandchildren, Darby and Marlowe; and his great grandchildren, Aurorah and Alijah.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (2170 NJ-88, Brick Township, NJ 08724). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Colonial Funeral Home- Owner John (2170 NJ-88, Brick Township, NJ 08724). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at the Greenwood Cemetery (707 Schoolhouse Rd, Brielle, NJ 08730).
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to The Mental Health Association in Ocean County.
