She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph L. Improto and Betty Improto Pearce; her stepfather Richard Pearce; and her sister Barbara McGinnis. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Romaine, Jr.; her children, Joseph James Romaine of Brick, Thomas Judd Romaine (Christine) of Brick, Shari Lynn Romaine of Brick and Jennifer Lynn Romaine of Brick; her sister Anna Joyce Driscoll Carey (Dennis) of Wilmington, NC; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Erika, Thomas, Jr., Joseph, Justine, Darren and Brandon.

Donations may be made in her name to the St. Jude Children's Research Foundation.
