It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Filomena Garofalo of Brick, New Jersey, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Filomena Garofalo to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony La Grutta and Angelina La Grutta (Auolisi); her husband Edward J. Garofalo, Sr.; her siblings, Nicolas Morano, Theresa Crisafulli, Rose Paglialonga, James Morano and Nicolas LaGrutta; and her grandson David Garofalo.
She is survived by: her son Edward Garofalo, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Mary Ellen of Dover; her daughter Patricia Perkins of Brick; her grandchildren, Valerie Gunthner (Eric) and Christy Scalese (Anthony); and her great grandchildren, Anthony Scalese and Lindsay Gunthner.
