We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2022, at the age of 70, Edward R. Sweeney of Brick, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sweeney and Helen Sweeney; and his brother Robert Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Sweeney (Gavin); his daughters, Megan C. Sweeney (Anthony Pileggi) of Montague and Erin E. Oliver (Brad Sofokles) of Newburgh, NY; his nephews, Scott Sweeney (Michelle) and Jeff Sweeney (Jill); and his sisters-in-law, Susan Gavin (Steve Duchensky) and Martha Sweeney.

Donation may be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
