He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol DePalma Hept; and his son Edward Hept. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hept (Carey); his daughter Sheri A. Hept of Forked River, NJ; his stepsons, Kevin and Brian; his siblings, George, James, Elizabeth Ackerman and Arlene Gannon; his grandchildren, Amanda Casanovas, Kalyn Carpineillo, Hailey Crimmins and Aidan Crimmins; and his great grandchildren, Dennis and Ivie Mae. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
