“My Dear friend and I started together at Eastern Airlines, Idlewild. He was a mechanic at the time, and I was a ramp serviceman! My friend was a quiet man with a great smile and a quiet demeanor. As fate would have it, we connected again at KIWI and the connection was immediate. A difficult start-up, any time he needed something controversial done, he would come to me, and when the task was completed, we would share a discreet laugh. Thank you Capt.
