She is survived by: her husband George Brown; her children, Jeffrey Mathews (Ann) of Hawthorne, NJ and Denise Bell (David); and her grandchildren, Julianne Hommel Mathews, Caven Mathews Thomas Bell and Emma Ruthanne Mathews.
