It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Mead (Brick, New Jersey), who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouses, Borough and George Mead; her daughter Diane C. Jones; and her father Ross. She is survived by: her children, Phillip I. Jones of Florida, Clarence Jones (Sande) of Forked River, Susan (Glenn Barnas) of Lodi and Judy (Rich Maranitz); her mother Carol Harmon of Point Pleasant; her sister Diane Templeton; and her pets, Riley, Sunshine and Midnight. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours for family and friends will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 3:00 to 7:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 State Highway 88, Brick A Graveside service will be held privately, immediate family only, on Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle. Due to Covid-19 executive orders of Governor Murphy, please be aware masks must be worn at all times, social distancing must be maintained, and capacity limitations are in effect for all gatherings.
