He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ludowig and Bertha Ludowig; and his wife Helen Ludowig. He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Scerbo; his children, Richard Ludowig (Brenda), Lynn Schwartz (Charles), Nancy Murrin (Dennis) and Kenneth Ludowig (Kathy); his grandchildren, April Zanbrano, Charles, Matthew Ludowig (Katie), Kyle Murrin, Nicole Swiderski (Keith), Ryan Murrin, Alex Ludowig, Michael Ludowig, Emily Ludowig and Rebecca Ludowig; and his great grandchildren, Christian, Deacon, Ty Zanbrano, Charles "Tripp", Payton Schwartz, Levi, Ricky Ludowig, Teddy, Patrick Swiderski and Hailey Murrin.
