She is survived by: her children, NJ, Richard Bassarab Jr., Jeffrey Bassarab, Doreen Roemer, Sandra and Eric Beyer; her grandchildren, Kellie, Amie Bassarab, Shane, Emily, Hope, Melanie Beyer, Bonnie and Crystal Vallee; her sisters, Audrey Gasper and Jacqueline (Alex MacNeil); her sisters-in-law, Kathi (John Long) and Barbara (Jim Morrette); her nieces, Christine, Joann, Jennifer and Jessica; and her nephew Keith.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Arlene's name to The American Kidney Foundation http://www.kidneyfund.org.
