He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmela Catania and Rosario Catania; his siblings, Nancy Giambona, Mary DeMarco, Rose Fiorvanti and Carlo Catania; his son Rosario; and his granddaughter Nicole.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Paradiso Catania; his sisters, Gloria Mueller and Ann; his brother-in-law John Oppici of Lakewood; his children, Mark, Michael and Tracey Neilan; his granddaughter Tina; and his great grandchildren, Dresdin, Kiana and Aiden.
