He was predeceased by: his daughter Meghan Wolfe. He is survived by: his wife Heidi Berndt (Pettersen); his children, Alan Berndt (Irina), Michael Cintron (Heather), Jennifer Berndt, Rob Dhont, Marissa Berndt and Jeffrey Stephens; his brother Bruce Berndt; his grandchildren, Avery White, Sofia and Katrina Berndt; his great grandchild Lilith White; and his pet Winston.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association.
