The memory of Eileen A. DeGroat of Branchville, New Jersey, born in Sussex, New Jersey, who passed away on June 7, 2024 at the age of 100, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Blackmore and Cora Blackmore (Bross); her husband Willard "Bill" DeGroat; her brother Eugene "Sonny" Blackmore; her grandson Tucher L. DeGroat; and her children-in-law, Bob DeYoung and Sandy Billowitz.
She is survived by: her children, Willard "Hap" DeGroat (Sherry), Dixie Lee DeYoung and Roger Linn DeGroat. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; several special nieces; and many foster children.
