She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Layton and Laura Layton (Westbrook); her husband James Cooper; and her siblings, Grace M. Layton and Ralph Layton.
She is survived by: her son James Cooper, Jr. (Sharon); her granddaughter Annette Gebauer (Sean); her great grandchildren, Bryce (Larissa), Chandler, Brayden and Chauncey; her great great grandchildren, Alicen and Annika; her niece Jane Fry; and her nephew Stewart Layton (Gayle).
