James T. Satterlee Obituary
The passing of James T. Satterlee of Branchburg, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Hogerty Weyant and George Michael "Mickey" Satterlee (Barbara Powers); and his siblings, Richard "Richie" Satterlee, Edward "Eddie" Satterlee, Mary Ann Deluccia and Bernice Adams.
He is survived by: his significant other Barbara; his friend Joanne Satterlee; his daughters, Sherri Placco (Vincent) of Leland, NC, Lori Rinaldi (Ron) of Branchburg, NJ and Traci Satterlee of Branchburg; his brother William "Willie" Satterlee Satterlee (Jean); his half-sister Anne Weyant; and his grandchildren, Vincent Placco III (Ali), Jamie Wolfley (Stone), Tadas B. Satkunas, James and Nicole Rinaldi. He is also survived by extended family, and countless lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Countryside Funeral Home (724 US-202, Three Bridges, NJ 08887). A Mass will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church (105 Summer Rd, Three Bridges, NJ 08887). An entombment will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery (95 Mt Airy Rd, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920).
On October 7, 2006 NPHS Alumni Association inducted him into their Hall of Fame Induction, which recognizes and honors NPHS graduates who have made notable contribution to their communities and society.
