She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Diaz and Maria Diaz; and her son Miguel A. Hernandez, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Miguel A. Hernandez; her children, Erika of Glen Head, NY and Hansylin (Megan); her grandchildren, Sean, Catherine and Lauren of South Brunswick; her sisters, Stella Cano, Gloria Diaz and Nieves Betancourt; her brother-in-law Gonzalo; her brother Laslado Diaz; and her sister-in-law Alicia.
