He was predeceased by: his parents, Emelia Gannone and Lawrence Gannone; his siblings, Lawrence Gannone, Robert "Bobby" Gannone and Marie Chernesky; his grandson Richard; his nephews, Thomas and Ray Nemeth; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Chernesky and Raymond Nemeth.
He is survived by: his wife Jill Knowlton Gannone; his children, Walter (Patty Gannone) of Bayville, NJ, Francis "Butch Jr" and Debbie Gannone of Easton, PA; his sister Ernestine Nemeth of Branchburg, NJ; and his grandchildren, Frank Jr., Brandi, Ashley, Melissa, Jessica, Christen and Melanie.
