He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Annibale Ferdinando and Vincenza Ferdinando (Corsini); his brother Clement; his wife Maria; his daughter Mary Jane Thomas; his grandsons, Dr. Jeffrey A. Thomas Jr. and Steven M. Thomas; and his sister Aldina King.
