Ganges (Desmond Kinney) of New Orleans; his grandchildren, Brielle Best, Louis A. Dixon V, Dreemur Dixon and Harper Kinney; his siblings, Harold Franklin Steed Jr., Johnny Steed of High Point, Michael Steed (Orencia) of Silver Spring, Jeffrey Steed of Burlington, Catherine Steed of High Point and Diedra Steed of Greensboro; and his pet Skipper. He is also survived by his grandchildren and dog.
