She was predeceased by: her husband Francis N. Atkins; and her brother William Carpenter. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Atkins Bishop (Paul Freedman) of Lawrence Township, NJ, Nancy Atkins Peasley (Mike) of Ambler, PA and Holly Atkins Wagner (Scott) of Newark, DE.; her brother James B Carpenter (Carie) of Santa Anna; her sister-in-law Rose Ann Carpenter of Hamilton Township; and her grandchildren, Tara Spiecker of Fort Washington, PA and Travis Spiecker (Valerie) of Holland, PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Laura's name to the Hamilton Township Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, 2100 Sylvan Avenue, Hamilton Township, NJ 08610, the ASPCA or any Animal Rescue League.
