She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Phelps and Blanch Phelps; her former husband Marvin Jones of Kentucky; and her siblings, Randall Phelps, Lloyd Phelps, Clifford Phelps and Josephine Beyler.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sheryl Elaine Jones (Timothy) and Monica Blanche Jones (Melchior); her brothers, Charles Phelps (Carolyn) and Daniel Phelps; and her grandchildren, Christopher Lozaga, Melissa, Cora, Emory, Andrew Lozaga and Brittany Temple.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bordentown Home For Funerals (40 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ 08505). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1800 Hamilton Ave, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619).
