We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2024, at the age of 92, Florence B Merz (Bordentown, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John McVarish and Julia McVarish; her husband Joseph George Merz III; her daughters, Florence Chamberland, Rosemary Cortese and Moira Jean Healey (Ken); her grandchildren, Nichole Horan (George), Dana Garcia (Cesar), David Chamberland (Chelsea), Stephen Chamberland, John Cortese (Margaret) and Danielle Coluccio; and also, Vivienne, Luca, Olivia, Harrison, Colin, Reid, Savannah, Vivian, Quinton, Alexandria, Penny and Sebastian. She was also cherished by her family and close friends, traveling with her husband.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bordentown Home For Funerals (40 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ 08505). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mary Mother of the Church (45 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ 08505). A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
