Eleanor Niagas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Niagas of Bordentown, New Jersey, who passed away on December 6, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Eleanor may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eleanor touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Schwartz and Marie Schwartz (Ostermeier); and her husband John Niagas. She is survived by: her daughters, Christin Takacs (Charles Brian Takacs) and Melissa Marino (Michael Marino); her siblings, Marie Lukacs, Theresa Sparks and Charles Schwartz (Mohamed); and her grandchildren, Gabrielle Takacs, Alexander Marino and Nicholas Marino.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saul Colonial Home (3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church (3816 E State St, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619).
