He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Ward and Eileen Ward; his wife Sally Ward; his sons, Dr. Michael Ward, Jr. (Megan), Timothy Ward (Alison) and Christopher Ward; his grandchildren, Olivia and Alaina Ward; his siblings, Dorothy Toth (Tom), Susan Ward, Eileen Ward, Ellen Ward and Edwin Ward (Carolyn); and his siblings-in-law, George Bentz, Rosemarie Fitzpatrick and Karen Bentz. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dr. Ward's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society, two charities important to the family.
