He is survived by: his parents, William D. and Grace Bateman, Sr. (Hale); his wife Blanche (Bunny); his daughter Linda Mattero (Matt); his stepchildren, Donald Butts Jr. and Kerensa Leigh Croy (Rick); his grandchildren, Heather Croy and Justin Croy; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Gliha and John Gliha.
