It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sophia Disston Freed (Boonton, New Jersey), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 26, 2018, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her son David Freed Jr. of Olympia; and her daughter-in-law Joyce (Anker Winther) of Ringoes. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
