He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony M. Gentile and Alice B. Gentile (Guenter); and his siblings, Ernest and Carolyn. He is survived by: his wife Marion Gentile (Augostini); his daughters, Carol Bresticker (David), Ann Cox (Patrick) and Jacqueline Moffitt; and his grandchildren, Teresa, Daniel (Lauren), Maria, Julia Bresticker, Joseph, Jesse Cox, Anna, Erin and Brian Moffitt. He is also survived by three daughters, and nine grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home (312 W Main St, Boonton, NJ 07005). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Cyril & Methodius Roman Catholic Church (215 Hill St, Boonton, NJ 07005). A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (106 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ 07405).
