He was predeceased by: his parents, James McManus and Annie Kelly McManus; and his brother John McManus. He is survived by: his wife Abby Moriarty McManus; his siblings, Mary Ann Digiorgio (Nicholas) and Michael McManus (Joan); and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen McCarthy and Patrick Moriarty. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
