He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Elizabeth; and his sister Rachel. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his brother Michael of Chicago, IL; his nephew David; and his daughters, Anne and Carrie. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

He spent the last 20 years living without complaint and appreciating life's less frequent joys as Parkinson's Disease slowly disabled him.
