It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Carpentier (Boonton Township, New Jersey), born in Union City, New Jersey, who passed away on November 26, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his sister Antoinette Spina; his children, James and Michelle; his husband Norman Russell; and his children, Stephen and Laurelle Ivey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that they honor Mike's love of the Giants football team by contributing to Eli Manning's Tackle Kids Cancer Challenge (tacklekidscancer.org).
